There’s no better way to cool off in the California sunshine than with a splash or a float (as water levels allow) in the San Luis Rey River. Whether you’re camping for the weekend at the historic La Jolla Indian Campground or just stopping by for the day, our shady riverside location offers the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and scenic beauty.
🌊 Tubing – Summer 2026
Tubing season at La Jolla Indian Adventure Park typically runs Fridays through Sundays during the Summer season, but CANNOT BE GUARANTEED ON ANY PARTICULAR DATE OR TIME. This is because the river flow is controlled by an outside agency, not by our team, and we really appreciate your understanding in this regard! 😎 In “normal” conditions, the outside agency usually works to release water starting Thursday nights to allow for tubing Friday to Sunday. When possible, they’ll often keep water flowing for select holiday Mondays.
Because water levels vary from week to week, tubing availability is always subject to river conditions. We recommend checking in advance—you can even view the river in real time via our live stream here.
