AT La Jolla Indian Adventure PARK

La Jolla Indian Campground

Nestled in the heart of Pauma Valley, California, and set against the breathtaking backdrop of Palomar Mountain, La Jolla Indian Campground is your ultimate Southern California camping destination. Whether you’re a family seeking quality time in the great outdoors or an outdoor enthusiast looking for your next adventure, our RV, Tent, and Group campsites provide unique and memorable escapes.

Cultural Heritage Meets Natural Beauty

For nearly a century, La Jolla Indian Campground has been a beloved retreat for families, adventurers, and nature enthusiasts. Situated on the La Jolla Indian Reservation, our campground honors the deep cultural roots of the Luiseño people—many of whom still live on our reservation land—while welcoming and immersing visitors in the breathtaking scenery of northern San Diego County. With its tranquil atmosphere, diverse wildlife, and the peaceful sounds of the San Luis Rey River, our campground offers an unparalleled opportunity to connect with history and nature in one remarkable setting.

WHY CHOOSE La Jolla Indian Campground?

Conveniently located within an hour of San Diego, our campground is the perfect base for weekend getaways, family vacations, and outdoor adventures. Whether you’re relaxing by the campfire, exploring the lush surroundings, or tubing down the San Luis Rey River, there’s something here for everyone.

For thrill-seekers, our Zip Zoom Ziplines deliver an unforgettable aerial adventure with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. If you prefer water play, Campground and Day Pass guests can enjoy our beautiful Mountainside Splash Pad, open Thursday to Sunday during the summer season and included in campground stays. While Sengme Oaks Water Park will remain closed for the 2025 summer season as we complete important upgrades, guests still have plenty of ways to cool off — from river tubing to the splash pad. Mountain biking enthusiasts can take on Luiseño Bike Park, Southern California’s only year-round downhill mountain bike park, with bike rentals available on-site.
