Important Weekend Updates
We also want to be transparent about a few amenities that will NOT be available this Memorial Day Weekend.
Tubing on the San Luis Rey River
Unfortunately, tubing will NOT be available this weekend.
The outside agency that controls water releases from Lake Henshaw has informed us there will not be a scheduled water release over Memorial Day Weekend.
As a result, river conditions will be more still and relaxed and are not suitable for tubing operations.
You can view the current river livestream here.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding that water release schedules are outside the control of La Jolla Indian Campground staff and management.
Splash Pad & Water Park
At this time, both the Campground Splash Pad and the adjacent Water Park remain CLOSED.
We understand these amenities are important to many guests, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as improvements and preparations continue.
Adventure Season Starts Here
Even with a few amenities temporarily unavailable, Memorial Day Weekend remains a great opportunity to get outdoors, explore the mountains, camp under the stars, and experience adventure at La Jolla Indian Adventure Park.
From ziplining and biking to relaxing campground vibes and great food, there’s still plenty waiting for you this weekend — and the weather looks fantastic. 😎
We look forward to welcoming everyone for a safe, memorable, and adventure-filled holiday weekend.
