CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Customer Service Representative
Reports To: Campground Manager
Location: La Jolla Enterprises

Position Summary: Executes monetary transactions for guests in or areas as assigned. Provides exceptional service to guests and teammates while creating an exciting entertainment experience.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are considered essential for this job classification:
- Provide responsibility and accountability for all monetary instruments, i.e., Cash, and all transactions.
- Managing reservations and creating bookings if necessary
- Checking in and out customers
- Register guests through 3er party booking systems
- Answering phones, giving directions to the campground and other enterprises
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Use several different software applications and electronic equipment to process, track, report, and balance transactions.
- Counting/balancing cash and transactional instruments at the end of the shift, reporting any variances to the manager and/or assistant manager.
- Applies positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests (internal and external).
- Assist guests with questions and/or concerns
- Clean office work areas/sweep and mop
- Performs all duties in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and Tribal Internal Controls.
- Maintains a neat & professional appearance in accordance with HR policy.
- Always maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned, as duties and responsibilities may be changed, expanded, reduced, or deleted to meet the company’s business needs.
- Stocking, facing, cleaning, and promoting of retail goods.

ADVENTURE PARK RANGER
Adventure Park Ranger

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Park Ranger, you will play a vital role in protecting our guests and staff while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a passion for the outdoors, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various responsibilities ranging from law enforcement to customer service. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to work in all Enterprise areas. The following duties are considered essential for this job classification:
Responsibilities:
- Maintain peace and security for all customers and coworkers.
- Monitor Park areas to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors with information about park amenities, trails, and wildlife.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed; certification in first aid is preferred.
- Understand and execute emergency procedures/protocols (CPR, emergency exit plan, etc)
- Write thorough reports on all incidents.
- Attend training courses as required by the management.
- Patrol all assigned areas and enforce rules as enacted by management.
- Handle all disturbances and manage conflicts among visitors effectively, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Must wear a uniform during work hours. The Company will supply a clean uniform, which must be kept clean.
- Comply with Personnel Policies and Procedures.
- Report any dangerous or suspicious activity.
- Be able to work in seasonal outdoor conditions
- When leaving work, notify the Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Perform any additional duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Guard Card is required for this position.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is advantageous but not mandatory.
- To obtain a weapons permit, one must be at least 21 years old. All weapon(s) must be registered to the applicant and verified through a La Jolla Tribal Police cross-check.
- Experience with conflict management techniques is beneficial for addressing visitor concerns effectively.

MAINTENANCE WORKER
Position: Maintenance Worker
Reports To: Campground Manager
Location: La Jolla Campground
Classification: Non-Exempt – Full Time

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Lead Maintenance or Manager, the employee will follow scheduled and unscheduled routines for the beautification, repair, and maintenance of the properties. There will also be requirements for maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are considered essential for this job classification:
- Ensure that goals and deadlines are met
- Respond to maintenance requests
- Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance
- Follow safety procedures
- Perform scheduled landscaping duties and trash removal.
- Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance and cleaning of bathrooms, toilets, and showers.
- Clean camping areas and amenities
- Maintain the plumbing, toilets, paint, doors, windows, and all other aspects of buildings, bathrooms, offices, and all related facilities.
- Maintain and repair BBQ grills in designated areas.

- Pump and clean the restrooms in and out of the campground.
- Be cheerful around customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Transporting and disposing garbage safely, effectively, and environmentally friendly.
- Ensuring recyclables such as glass, paper, and plastic are properly separated from other types of garbage for effective recycling.
- Crushing or burning garbage in a controlled environment when necessary.
- Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
- Clearing debris from roadways to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Maintaining the trucks by performing routine maintenance, such as checking tire pressure, topping off fluids, and inspecting mechanical parts for unusual wear and tear.

The Company
Site: La Jolla Zip Zoom Ziplines is located on the La Jolla Indian Reservation in Pauma Valley, CA. The foothills of the Palomar Mountain range have been a vacation destination since the La Jolla band of Luiseno Indians, who have lived in the area for thousands of years and opened a Campground on their reservation there in the 1930’s, where the Zipline headquarters is located.
The zipline course includes an off-road vehicle ride up the mountain and then a series of 3 to 4 side-by-side mega at speeds up to 55 mph. The longest line is over 2700 ft long and the entire course offers stunning views the whole way through.

The Position
Summary of Essential Job Functions Include but Not Limited To:
- Provides excellent customer service to all guests
- Supervise and facilitate guests’ experience on tour
- Ensures all course operations are conducted in accordance with safety standards
- Fits harnesses and helmets correctly and supervises the use of all personal safety equipment
- Clear communication with co-guide, front desk staff, and management in person and using radios
- Conducts participant ground school and pre-screening
- Attends ongoing trainings and team meetings throughout the season
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Assists with retail and ticket sales as needed
- Provide in-park guests transportation by vehicle (if applicable)
- Perform technical rescues as needed
- Ongoing assessment/management of risk in dynamic conditions
- Inspect all personal protective equipment (PPE) prior to and after use
- Properly inspects all course components and course gear
- Complete post-trip and all other appropriate paperwork
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older; Must be 21 to drive vehicles
- Risk management experience preferred
- Must pass initial training
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to communicate and work as an effective team member
- Ability to speak in front of large groups effectively
- Ability to work long hours and irregular shifts in a multi-task environment
- Must be able to pass background check
- Dependable, responsible, reliable, and able to take directions as needed
Physical Abilities Required
- Must have ability to perform work at height
- Must be able to perform all technical rescue associated with the park (training provided)
- This position may require walking and standing for long period of times in all weather conditions

Schedule
- Must have a flexible schedule with full availability on the weekends and all holidays.

BIKE PARK POSITIONS
SHUTTLE DRIVER
Shuttle Driver
Reports To: Bike Park Manager

Position Summary: Luiseno Bike Park is seeking a reliable and experienced Shuttle Driver to join our team at the La Jolla Indian Adventure Park. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a 26-foot-long commercial stake bed truck or truck/trailer system and safely transporting passengers to the top of the mountain bike park. The ideal candidate has a strong background in passenger transport, excellent customer service skills, and is committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all Park guests.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are considered essential for this job classification:
- Safely operate a shuttle truck, transporting passengers and their bikes to the top of the mountain bike park.
- Perform daily inspections of the shuttle truck, ensuring that it is in proper working condition and meets all safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable shuttle environment for passengers, including regular cleaning of the vehicle’s interior and exterior.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their bikes, ensuring that all equipment is securely fastened and stored during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, answering questions about the resort and its facilities, and offering information on trail conditions and safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all resort and traffic safety regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or other incidents to management promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with other resort staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests, while prioritizing safety and satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians’ mountain bike resort operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays on a regular basis
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of mountain biking and familiarity with the resort’s trail system is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and safety, with the ability to maintain focus and make sound decisions in challenging driving conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as bicycles, and assist passengers with loading and unloading as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
