Guest Requirements
All guests must meet the following requirements to participant. Due to the nature of our tours and for safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone.
- WEIGHT: Guests must weigh between 65 and 250 pounds and agree to be discretely weighed upon check in.
- HEIGHT: Guests must be 48 inches or taller. Guest will be measured upon check in.
- AGE: Anyone under the age of 14 years old must be accompanied by a ticketed and participating Responsible Adult (18 years or older). Minors 14 to 17 years old must have a Responsible Adult either accompanying them on tour or remaining on site for the duration of the tour.
- HEALTH: Guests should be in good health*. Guests must be able to reach their arms above their head and place their hands on the handlebar above them. Participation is not permitted for those under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or legal drugs or prescription medications that may limit your abilities.
- ACTIVE PARTICIPATION: Guests should be ready for an adventure that requires active participation, including but not limited to climbing stairs and hiking across uneven terrain.
- INSTRUCTIONS: All guests must be able to understand and comply with instructions given by staff members.
- ATTIRE: Closed-toe shoes (no crocs, slip-ons, or sling-backs) and clothing appropriate for the weather/activity are required. Very short shorts are not recommended.
- WAIVER: All guests must complete a waiver prior to adventuring. Guests should complete this online waiver prior to arrival. For guests under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver on their behalf.
- *La Jolla Zip Zoom Ziplines is designed for guests in good health. Participation is not recommended for guests who are pregnant, have recent, recurring or existing injuries, have a serious musculoskeletal disorder, epilepsy or a seizure disorder that does not permit them to drive, have hemophilia or are currently taking high doses of a blood thinning medication or anticoagulant, have a known health condition that requires immediate medical attention in the event of an emergency, or are using prescription medications that may limit their abilities. Guests with any of these conditions or other health concerns are advised to consult with their physician before participation.

We recommend booking at least a week in advance but depending on the size of your group and your flexibility with date and time, you may be able to book closer to the date. As we are booking based, we cannot guarantee your desired date and time will remain open without a booking.
Walk-ins are often not able to be accommodated, as we have certain start times and limited amount of spots per time. We also call in our staff based off the bookings, so if there is no reservation, there is often no guides available.

Rainy days can be just as fun! As an outdoor adventure, we run zipline tours rain, snow, or shine. However, in the event of severe weather or conditions, we may choose to cancel your tour. Advance notice of cancellations may not always be possible. Cancelled tours due to weather are determined by our management team, and are offered to reschedule, a rain check. or a full refund. Should a cancellation occur during your tour a full or partial voucher or refund may be given.

You do not need to bring anything for your zipline experience; wallets, purses, IDs (unless using for discount verification), water bottles, gloves, etc. We ask that you leave everything in your car and if it is valuable, please leave it at home. We will hold onto your keys for you while you zip. We provide all equipment needed and water stations throughout.

There is no age requirement, but we do have participant requirements that all guests must meet, including weight and height.

Please plan wisely, as most cell phone providers do not have and will lose reception once you get close to the mountain area. We will not be able to delay your tour time.

We do not recommend carrying your phone. If you do take it, it is at your own risk. As harnesses tend to shove things out of pockets, we recommend if you bring it that you put it in a zippered pocket. Note, you may still lose your phone from a zippered pocket or end up with a broken phone or cracked screen. Note we do take pictures throughout your tour that are available for purchase, as well as offer GoPro rentals.

Yes! Several of our helmets come equipped with attachments (fits most), we will also let you use our universal attachment is case you are missing yours. We also welcome “chesties”, “wristies”, just no “selfie sticks”.

We typically take up to 10 guests on each tour.

We will provide water at the landing stations where you will have time to get a cool drink before moving on to the next launch site. Easy access to a restroom break if needed, as well.

Yes, we do provide free Wi-Fi access to all guests of the Adventure Park.

There’s so much to do at La Jolla Indian Adventure Park! We are home to San Diego’s very first water park, featuring pools and awesome slides. We are also home to the west coasts biggest downhill bike trails, featuring 8 different tracks ranging for the novice or expert. Don’t forget the camping, tubing in the San Luis Rey river, and bicycling along the campgrounds, as well.
